Cost of Prescriptions - Note from a Co-Founder

Dear Friends,

I researched the cost for my Soma at Costco versus Walgreens. At Costco, 100 pills cost $4 and change. At Walgreen's the same prescription was over $50. You do NOT have to be a member at Costco to buy prescriptions.

Costco does not carry some opiates and some other specialty medications but may be able to save you money. Understand that Walmart also has a program for $4 prescriptions. Check the store programs to see if it is cheaper to buy your prescriptions that way versus insurance! The stores won't tell you, but you can ask and determine which is the cheapest way to purchase prescriptions.

It is against the law in the U.S. to sell prescriptions that are governed federally at a private store. You won't get access to buy other products, but if you tell them at the door you are there to use the pharmacy, they should let you right in. Check out the savings.

We are not promoting any commercial retailers. We are NOT in ordinary times. Our Brothers and Sisters and caregivers need this type of information.

I would like to hear from any of you!
